How strategic outsorcing creates growth

All too often, the initial focus around outsourcing is centered on cost savings and reduction of headcount. This “utility” approach can indeed produce some bottom-line savings, but the true extent and value of these savings typically falls short of expectations. Focusing on a utility based outsourced model can provide disappointing results – and is most likely responsible for the high degree of failure in today’s outsourcing relationships.
